Very well located in the central square of this small town, this café or bistro offers quality dishes. Their frozen yogurt crumble wasn't bad. Nevertheless the welcome is unpleasant and the service is unprofessional, I had ordered a dessert and a coffee and the dessert arrived half an hour after coffee. The lady behind the bar knows no politeness and you almost bother to serve. The prices are too high for such a service. There are better cafes nearby.

We tried to eat out there. We were brought to our table and nothing more happened. No waiter came. After 20 minutes we left again. When we went out we were told that it was very full. Sorry, but at least one could have come to the table for a short time and somehow say something like we are in the stress, we are there for you right away or something. But that nobody came is a tough job. The shop wasn't particularly full either. Unfortunately, not everyone can provide service.

We went to the Marktweib for lunch today. We were very satisfied. The service and the food was great. Big compliments! We will be back. Definitive.

Nice ambience, delicious food, good price-performance ratio, nice and friendly service. Only in the "Medpelchen" there was probably no calvados but something else in alcohol ...

that's a special atmosphere here (wood, modern, beams, niches / corners) that make it cozy and intimate = feel-good factor! I liked the stews and every now and then brunch is also good! the location on the old leaning market square with the fountain and the outside area is awesome.

Cozy restaurant with down-to-earth and tasty cuisine. The dishes are nicely arranged and the price-performance ratio is right too. The service is friendly and always ready to listen to orders or questions.

Will not come back. Having half an hour to eat and meanwhile being asked if we would like a dessert, although the other guests had already been asked to pay, was more than uncomfortable. Once and never again.

Decent Food

Overpriced: rather basic, uninspired food sold for upmarket prices. Service was slightly bizarre, kept reminding us that the kitchen was about to close at 8:30 on a Sunday night (we had a dinner reservation for that time)

Marktweib is a precious pearl right on the main square in Oberursel. The restaurant is very cool . The atmosphere is very cozy and familiar at the same time. The food is gorgeous and very well cooked. The staff is also very friendly and professional. If you pass by Oberursel you cannot avoid stopping by for a wonderful schnitzel!

A consistently good bistro/brasserie in the historic centre of Oberursel. Every dish I have tried has been well prepared, is tasty and presented really well, and at a very reasonable price. Staff have been very helpful and always very helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

Great service, very attentive. The food was super delicious and our special requests were taken into account. Children's chair would be made available to us immediately without being asked. 2 outdoor areas, one to the market square and one to the garden.

A well run place. Staff is friendly, the atmosphere is nice with very charming decoration. The food menu is limited but the dishes are excellent. Recommend you book a table on weekends. We have been there quite a few times now and we organised the baptism of our child there. They reserved a nice cosy space and were fully dedicated to the planning with details such as table decoration, special menu, etc...

Creative menus and healthy dishes. Absolutely loving this place.
